La Silla - Call for Proposals for Period 115
The European Southern Observatory (ESO) invites proposals for observations at ESO telescopes.
In the interest of maximizing scheduling flexibility and accommodating the often over- and under-subscribed observing conditions, applicants for observing time are strongly urged to consider essential information provided on our designated webpages: Forecast of telescope pressure, and Any-weather programme statistics. This information can guide your selections and enhance the likelihood of fulfilling your observing objectives. Please take particular note of the current high demand on UT4, especially in the 9<RA<14h range, where securing observing time will be notably challenging.
This section provides tables of the La Silla instruments and facilities offered for observations, with their main functionalities given in the Instruments Summary Table. This section also lists the recent changes to La Silla instruments and facilities over the the last two periods, and the ones expected to take place during the period of the call, as well as the changes foreseen in the coming periods; please refer to the Call for Proposals for other changes (policy, etc..) relevant for observations with ESO telescopes. Finally, a quick look table provides the estimated overheads for each instrument.
