Fulldome clip of the Sun
This fulldome video pans to include the entirety of the Sun within its frame. The surface of our parent star bristles with activity. Solar flares can be seen coiling and snapping, unleashing huge amounts of energy.
The time-lapse movie was created from NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory AIA 171 observations.
