This image shows a field of stars and galaxies taken with VISTA’s near-infrared camera. Among them is REBELS-25, the most distant rotating disc galaxy ever discovered.
VISTA, ESO’s Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy, is located in Chile’s Atacama Desert.
