Planetary Nebulae in NGC6822

We present imaging detection of 20 PNe in the dwarf irregular galaxy NGC6822 and the optical spectroscopy follow up of 6 of them. A carefull check of the candidates has been made and a PNLF has been calculated. Three PNe lie very far away (15') from the optical center of the galaxy. Preliminary chemical abundances could be determined, and compared to the PNe abundances of other galaxies, and some metallicity trends found with the LMC and SMC are also seen.
