I briefly review the use of intracluster planetary nebulae as tracers
of intracluster light, stars between the galaxies in clusters. Over
500 intracluster planetaries have now been detected by various researchers
in the Virgo and Fornax clusters. I review what we have learned to date
about the intracluster population, and discuss recent progress in studies
of galaxy groups, and in comparison to other stellar populations.
